Blueberry Pie Green Tea- Magical

When my kids were in elementary school, I would take time for myself at a local tea house. Precious moments to myself sipping my favorite blueberry tea fueled my spirit and endurance for the demands of work and parenting. I’ve searched all over for an antioxidant packed, naturally flavored blueberry tea that tasted like my old favorite from the tea house. Along the way, I learned that my original go-to tea was artificially flavored and contained chemicals that I wouldn’t want to ingest! It’s tough to get a flavored tea that’s all natural and packed with flavor. This tea hits the mark and, like all my teas, is all natural, nothing artificial and NO trendy sweeteners…just pure and natural tea, fruit, herbs, and organic compliant natural flavors. I start with Pekoe Gunpowder- one of the stronger green teas on the market. During manufacture, each individual leaf is hand rolled in a process that hasn’t changed for centuries. As the leaf is rolled, proteins break down and are forced to the leaf surface where they develop a full-bodied flavor. The leaf is then fired to maintain its rounded shape and nuance. Although this tea is exceptional on its own, its character lends itself well to flavoring.
